Palmer’s enlisted Coyne PR to tastefully showcase its tempting new Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter to the beauty and general consumer press.
IDEA:
Coyne PR encouraged the brand to take full advantage of its scrumptious sponsorship of the 9th Annual Chocolate Show in Manhattan by hosting individual beauty editor meetings, with full access to the Chocolate Show following their appointments. The sweet opportunity was used to both butter up the press with a new product introduction and provide press and consumers a taste of the already-established Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula product line. Coyne PR and Palmer’s invited top beauty editors to learn about Lip Butter and provided a unique, experiential opportunity. After sampling (and savoring) delicious Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter, renowned clairvoyant Maxine Albert ditched her crystal ball and told editors their fortunes, based on their expressive lip prints.
IMPACT:
This event took the chocolate cake! It served to create high interest in the brand with national beauty press while generating substantial media presence in the local NY market, frosting a number of high-profile placements including CBS 2 “Morning News,” CW11 “Morning News,” OK!
