Celebrate Octoberfest at Hard Rock Cafe With New Burger And Beer Pairing

Hard Rock Cafe is celebrating Oktoberfest in a big way this year, with a limited-edition Samuel Adams' Octoberfest Schnitzel Burger, perfectly paired with a Samuel Adams Octoberfest brew. The Octoberfest Schnitzel burger features breaded pork schnitzel, topped with smoked bacon, sauerkraut, mustard, arugula and Samuel Adams Octoberfest-infused beer cheese sauce, which is all served on a pretzel bun. You can start finding it in cafes mid-September. The newest burger and beer duet capitalizes on authentic, German-inspired flavors for fall that balance the deep and smooth malt finish of the beer. Which of These 10 Small Businesses Deserves a Super Bowl Commercial?

Software company Intuit Inc. is running a competition for the second year in a row where the prize is a coveted 30-second spot during the 2016 Super Bowl. Out of 15,000 submissions, a team of judges at Intuit have chosen 10 small businesses as finalists. This year, it costs $4.5 million for 30 seconds of air time during this popular time slot, not including the cost of producing the spots, which would typically keep small businesses from purchasing. Voting for the winner will continue through Nov. 3.

Goodwill Goes Upscale With New Boutiques

Boutiques are giving Goodwill a much needed makeover. Typically associated with clothing castoffs, the new Huntington Beach boutique location is part of a national initiative by the nonprofit provider in order to compete with other resell outlets such as thrift shops. Four of these more high-end stores have been opened in the last two years with plans to open more. The ultimate goal is to capitalize on luxury donations and get ahead of the competition such as high end consignment shops who specialize in designer brands.

Ted Baker Creates Engaging Online Treasure Hunt For Instagram Followers

British retailer Ted Baker launched a social campaign in which Instagram users have the opportunity to win a Ted Baker present after embarking on a treasure hunt. As part of the promotion, “Ted” reveals clues from his travels on the Ted Baker Instagram account, then followers must post the correct answer in the comment section of the Ted’s cabinet page, tag a friend and use #Wonders. The goal of the promotion is to increase the brand’s social following and overall awareness of the brand.

Reynolds Made a Clever Instagram Cookbook That Feels Like an 'Endless Table'

Instagram is a huge social platform for foodies, so Reynolds, known for its kitchen products, turned its account into a giant dinner table by stitching together glossy, overhead pictures leveraging the app's grid layout. This year, Reynolds plans to make eight dinner tables revolving around a specific theme such as Thanksgiving, back-to-school, summer, etc., each of which is made up of 21 dishes. Each individual picture of a dish links to another Reynolds-operated Instagram account that lays out all of the individual ingredients in a dish and features a link to the Reynolds website. This campaign is Reynolds’ biggest this year and is being promoted with print, online videos and social media posts on Facebook and Pinterest.

This Amazing Listerine App Lets Blind People 'Feel' a Smile

Listerine has created a smartphone application that lets blind people know when others are smiling at them. By using facial recognition technology, the phone’s camera can detect a smile up to five meters away. Visually impaired users are then notified of the smile via a vibration or beep. Stephen Colbert Becomes Latest A-List Celebrity to Promote Waze

Stephen Colbert became the latest celebrity voice for navigation app Waze in a promotional stunt ahead of his debut as the new host of "The Late Show" on Sept. 8. The funnyman joins a line of celebrities whose voices have been heard on Waze since 2013, including Neil Patrick Harris and Kevin Hart. Colbert will be featured on the app through Sept. 22.

Watch a Pregnant Man Get The Greatest Gift of All in This Amazing Ad

Fiber One has created an ad that seems to be a pregnant man, featuring vocals from Michael Bolton. The spot shows a couple appearing to be going through the steps of pregnancy together with the man suffering cravings, pains, etc. However, at the end of the commercial when he goes into “labor,” he is shown coming out of a bathroom without the stomach viewers have previously seen and the words, “If you’re irregular, get more fiber,” flash across the screen.
