Here’s Why You Saw so Many Green Ribbons at The Emmys

Several award winners, presenters and guests at the 2015 Emmy Awards sported bright green ribbons to raise awareness and support of the fight surrounding climate change. The ribbons were stamped with #DemandClimateAction and are tied to a petition written by the Natural Resources Defense Council that calls for world leaders to take action to fight climate change.

Are You Baking Royalty? This Contest is Looking to Crown a Winner!

Bakers were given a shot at becoming baking royalty thanks to Marie Callender’s. The brand is looking for a “Pie Queen or King,” in a contest that is offering the winner this gracious title as well as $15,000. Contestants created videos repurposing a Marie Callender’s pie into a one-of-a-kind recipe along with a unique pie tip. The winner has yet to be announced, but in addition to the prize money, the newly crowned “Pie Queen or King” will become the brand’s spokesperson for a year which comes with perks of its own.

David Beckham And Kevin Hart’s Hysterical H&M Campaign Unveiled

H&M has just released a new teaser featuring the brand’s latest collection. In the video, David Beckham is informed that comedian Kevin Hart wants to play him in a biopic. Hart wants to follow Beckham around for a week to attempt to get into character. The ad is a promotion for H&M's Modern Essentials line, which is a selection of David’s favorite clothes. The full video is up on H&M’s website now.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Created a Selfie Spoon to Help You Snap The Perfect Breakfast Pic

General Mills’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch has created a selfie spoon as a way for consumers to take selfies of themselves eating the breakfast cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is giving out 1,000 spoons over 10 days as part of its “Cinnamilk” campaign. The purple spoon attached to a 30-inch selfie stick is free, but consumers must pay for shipping and handling to get their hands on this novelty.

Dell And Visa Boost Girl Scouts’ Digital Cookie 2.0 Program

Dell and Visa have joined to help the world’s biggest cookie-selling effort with Girl Scouts of the USA by offering technology, hardware and payment enhancements to the Girl Scouts’ Digital Cookie 2.0 e-commerce platform. The platform allows girls to sell directly to consumers by inviting them to buy via email from personalized websites and take orders via mobile. Dell will donate tablets to the Girl Scout troops in certain areas, allowing more girls to participate.

L'Oreal Video Influencer Campaign Goes Viral

Last spring, Garnier launched its one minute “Change Ups” video campaign. The campaign highlights eight beauty and lifestyle vloggers who demonstrate how to create various hairstyles, using Garnier products of course, within 60 seconds. Seven months after its original launch date, the video has seen a steady growth in viewership. More than 3.1 million viewers have watched the video on YouTube and the campaign witnessed an increase of 600,000 views in one week alone. Garnier is hoping that this campaign will help the brand appeal to a younger demographic.

Pope Francis Receives Philly Style Welcome With Pope Pretzel

The Philly Pretzel Factory location in Langhorne, PA welcomed Pope Francis with a customized pretzel shape. In order to give the Pope a true Philadelphian welcome, the pretzel is in the shape of the Pope himself.  Unfortunately, the Pope pretzel is not for sale, but fans can always expect seasonal and custom shapes from the chain.

For anyone who has grown up wishing they could climb inside a Peanuts cartoon strip, Peanutize Me is the next best thing. In anticipation of The Peanuts Movie, director Steve Martino wants fans to embrace their inner (cartoon) child, so he built a website that finally makes entering the Peanuts’ universe possible. Peanutize Me, a new website from Martino and his cohorts, allows fans to transform themselves into a Shulz-esque character, then share their cartoon self with friends on Facebook and Twitter.

New Twister World Record Set at Thomas Rhett Album Release Party

Country Artist, Thomas Rhett, has just set a new world record for the largest game of Twister ever played at his album release party for his sophomore effort, “Tangled Up.” The show was booked at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and more than 1,200 custom Twister boards were set up on half of the football field. The event finished up with Rhett playing his single, “Crash and Burn” for the participants.
