The coupon was programmed to create the illusion of the donuts dripping its signature sweet glaze. All U.S. Krispy Kreme customers who purchased a dozen donuts and presented the coupon received another dozen on the house on Dec. 12.

Amazon to Give Away Free Vinyl Records Every 30 Minutes

Amazon continues its generosity this holiday season by offering free giveaways for consumers who enter their name and relevant info on Amazon.com. Starting on Dec. 15, Amazon will be giving away prizes from 9 a.m. through 10 p.m. PST and will continue giving through Dec. 16. On the giveaway list are vinyl albums from Taylor Swift, The Beatles and more, as well as a Crosley C100 Turntable.

Walmart's Holiday 'Social Experiment' Proves That Kids Are Pretty Unselfish

This holiday season, Walmart asked kids a simple question – when given the option to pick any toy they wanted off the shelf, would they rather keep it for themselves, or give it to a kid who does not get any presents during the holidays. A heartwarming 80 percent of kids chose to give it to a child less fortunate. As part the #FillTheTruck campaign, Walmart is encouraging parents to give their kids the option to give or get to help collect toys for kids in need. The campaign has been promoted through multiple social media channels, and invites parents to film and share their own children’s answers.

Stella Artois Reaches For The Stars With Holiday Song by John Legend

Stella Artois commissioned John Legend for a just-released tune, Under The Stars, that was incorporated into the company’s “Give Beautifully” holiday campaign. Inspired by the fact that “stella” is Latin word for star, Legend created an astral soundtrack for the exclusive holiday single. Stella Artois was originally crafted as a holiday gift to the city of Leuven, Belgium and the company wanted to pay tribute to their origin story and inspire the entire country to give beautifully this holiday season.

This year Southwest Airlines partnered with Dr. Pepper and brought back its favorite holiday contest, 12 Days of LUV! The program began on Dec. 1 and lasted for 12 days, which gave fans the chance to win a $1,000 Southwest gift card every day! All consumers needed to do was follow Southwest Airlines on Instagram and Twitter during Dec. 1 - 12 as the handle asked followers to be creative with a holiday-themed photo/video. A winner was chosen each day of the program.

Kit Kat has taken a different approach to the holiday season by airing a new ad, which offers up nothing but a white screen as a voiceover tell viewers “Welcome to nothing.” The ad does not suggest gift options for family members, holiday songs or Santa hats, which gives viewers the chance to simply take a break from the holiday season.

This Gingerbread Bank Draws Our High Interest

PNC Bank opened its Gingerbread Branch at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. This structure not only offers a place for families to enjoy hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies, but it is also a working bank that will allow visitors to open up an account or take out cash from the “cookie-encrusted” ATM. PNC is also offering an interactive tour of the Gingerbread Branch online for those that are unable to visit.
