Nordstrom Announces ‘Epic Shoe Party’ Contest on Snapchat

Using Snapchat and Karlie Kloss, Nordstrom launched a “shoe party,” where followers could vote on which of five universities should host the party. Snapchat users were shown five different universities and were encouraged to screenshot in order to cast a vote. The university with the most screenshots will receive an “epic” party for 2,000 seniors. At the party, the attendees will receive swag as well as a $100 voucher to use toward shoes.

Beyonce’s Very Own Athleisure Line, Ivy Park, Will Drop in April

Beyonce has announced she is releasing a new active wear line called IVY PARK. It will be sold starting April 14 in stores and online at Topshop, Nordstrom, Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, Hudson Bay and Zalando. Beyonce’s line joins an array of brands selling activewear, from affordable threads at Old Navy and Target to pricier goods at Kate Spade and Tory Burch.

Aerie Launches Body-Positive Aerie Man Underwear Campaign

Aerie launched a body-positive Aerie Man underwear campaign, casting male models – a first for the brand. The latest move, using hashtag #AerieMan, builds on the #AerieReal campaign that began in 2014, when Aerie started using only unretouched photos. The #AerieReal campaign has boosted sales more than 20 percent since last year. The new collection is available online, priced between $12.50 and $15.95.

Could These Leggings Make You Work Out Better?

Technology is now being embedded into fitness leggings, which are intended to correct form during yoga and other fitness classes. Sydney-based wearable technology company, Wearable Experiments, has created the Nadi Legging, which takes data from six points in the body to ensure users are hitting each pose correctly. The leggings vibrate when all points are askew.

There's a 'Jungle Book' Fashion Collection Right in Time For The New Movie

Kenzo and Disney have announced a partnership for a Jungle Book-themed fashion collection, just in time for the film’s release on April 15. The collection will be comprised of skirts, shorts, tops, and shirt dresses adorned with jungle scenery and also sketches of characters that appeared in the original film. The line will become available at Bergdorf Goodman beginning on April 8 and also at Kenzo.com.
