MAC’s New Troll Dolls Collection is Equal Parts Neon And Nostalgia

In support of the new animated movie release “TROLLS,” MAC Cosmetics has announced its most recent partnership with popular Troll Doll toys with a collection called Good Luck Trolls. The line will feature vibrant lipsticks, eye shadows and more to tie back to the ‘80s and ‘90s, when Troll Doll popularity was at its peak. The new line launches in August prior to the movie hitting theaters in November.

Lowe’s Enlists Snapchat, Facebook Mobile Video in New Push to Reach Millennials

Lowe’s is looking to tap into the millennial market by taking to Facebook and Snapchat to assist homeowners in learning new tricks. Lowe’s will use Facebook to incorporate a flip video, which will allow the orientation of the video to change. These videos will be split, playing two different scenarios out simultaneously with one on the top and one on the bottom. Lowe’s is using Snapchat to feature short videos encouraging small home projects where users can tap on the screen to interact as if playing a game.

Watch MC Hammer Help This Brand Stop Hammer Time - Literally

3M’s Command strips recently launched “Do. No Harm,” a campaign with rapper MC Hammer sporting his shiny ‘90s hammer pants in a series of commercials. In the first of three TV ads, Hammer tells a woman hammering nails into her wall to “stop hammer time” and use Command strips instead. The campaign also includes social and digital content, including an "Ask Hammer” video series, and a #ThrowbackThursday event hosted by Hammer at Grand Central terminal in NYC, taking place on May 19.

Building momentum before the Olympic Games of 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and Mother’s Day, Proctor & Gamble introduced an ad campaign where Olympians thank their mothers. Through different pivotal moments from the past, the commercial features Olympians flashing back to the times they needed the support of their mothers growing up. Proctor & Gamble, parent company to brands like Pampers and Bounty, consolidates brand messaging into this one commercial succinctly and will have viewers yearning to call their own mothers.

Topshop Wants to Help You Finally Make Wearable Tech Stylish And Affordable

Topshop is taking a fresh approach to introduce wearable technology to the fashion world by inviting start-ups and entrepreneurs to apply for its “Top Pitch” intensive development program in London with selected applicants winning the opportunity to pitch their product to Topshop. The boot-camp style program offers workshops, presentations from Topshop executives and guidance from “expert mentors” to provide participants with the necessary tools to grow their business in time for the big pitch. The application is open now through May 22 to wearable tech entrepreneurs across the globe either in the concept stage or those that have a prototype ready.
