Zappos.com Launches #ImNotABox Campaign Encouraging Out-Of-The-Box Thinking

Zappos.com, known for its “out-of-the-box culture” has just launched a campaign that seeks to encourage its fans to be their best, creative and unique selves. The #ImNotABox campaign kicked off with an online short film and a short spot on television. Beginning June 1, fans will receive special edition shoeboxes that have templates and ideas for repurposing the box for useful items, like a smartphone holder.

Spelling Bee Champs Are The Stars of Amazon's Latest Ad Campaign

Amazon is awarding the star spellers of this year's national bee with some of their very first endorsement deals. The campaign marks the first time Amazon has teamed with the Scripps National Spelling Bee. In the commercials, the kids, aged six to 14, talk about their work ethic and their interests outside of deconstructing ridiculously challenging words. The campaign's main focus is a shared love of reading that is meant to promote Amazon's Kindle e-reader device.

Travelers Can Enter to Win a Night in The Eiffel Tower

HomeAway, the vacation rental website and sponsor of the UEFA EURO 2016 men’s soccer championship, is giving travelers the chance to win an overnight stay in Paris in a most unusual location: the Eiffel Tower. The apartment will sleep five, meaning that each of the four winners will be able to bring four guests. The winners will also be treated with a gourmet French dinner and round-trip transportation. Travelers in the United States have until May 31 at 11 p.m. ET to enter on the website.

SunChips launched a new “Waves of Laughter” campaign where the brand asks users to visit www.LaughwithSunChips.com to view a short, funny video. A program then analyzes a person’s primary personality traits based on their laugh profile. Each time a user shares his or her “laugh print” via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail, SunChips will donate $1 to Step Up, a nonprofit devoted to helping girls from under-resourced urban neighborhoods become confident, college-bound and career-focused. The brand has committed to donate up to $100,000.

AT&T Gives Kids Reason to Love Road Trips

AT&T is trying to take away the pain of the constant “Are we there yet?” quips during summer road trips by doubling down on its commitment to better connect vehicles with WiFi. The campaign focuses on turning family cars into WiFi hotspots to create a relatively painless road trip experience. The ads will run through July 5 to take advantage of vacation-planning season. AT&T currently has more than eight million cars using its network and has relationships with 19 car brands.
