MTV’s latest campaign has found creative ways to guide young voters to focus on political issues, not the absurdity of the election. The “Elect This” campaign is using robots controlled by social media, infographics and celebrities to encourage young voters to get to the polls this year. MTV will debut the short-form series “Robo-Roundtable,” which pokes fun at “puppet politics” while engaging in daily on-air and online debates, hosting Facebook Live videos and posting Snapchat content.
