Listerine's World Cup Newsroom Will Turn Social Posts Into Ads

Listerine launched an integrated Facebook and Twitter campaign revolving around its first World Cup Sponsorship. The brand’s new campaign, “Power to Your Mouth,” capitalizes on the social chatter going on during the games.  The mouthwash is posting real-time content based on trending topics. To tackle language barriers, the tweets are translated into English and Spanish, while Facebook posts are translated in Italian, Portuguese and Arabic.

Tearjerking Ad Reminds Everyone What Fatherhood is Really All About

In honor of Father’s Day, Dove set out to debunk pervasive negative stereotypes about fathers by releasing quite the tear-jerking commercial. This is because according to a survey, conducted by Dove Men + Care, 64 percent of dads said they feel the media portrays them inaccurately. The emotional commercial depicts boys and girls, of all ages, calling out for their dads, whether it is a young boy as he learns to swim or a bride on her wedding day.

'Meat Rushmore' Sculpture Shows Presidents Covered in Jerky

To celebrate National Jerky Day, Jack Links built a replica of Mount Rushmore made out of nearly 1,600 pounds of beef, pork and turkey jerky. The 13 feet high and 17 feet wide #MeatRushmore was on display in New York's Columbus Circle and is now its way back to the headquarters of Jack Link's in Minong, Wisconsin. Overall the sculpture took 20 staffer and about 1,400 man-hours to construct!

Baseball Hall of Fame Celebrates 75th Anniversary

The National Baseball Hall of Fame celebrated its 75th Anniversary by launching the new "Babe Ruth: His Life and Legend" exhibit. The display features artifacts telling Ruth’s whole story including a special bat from 1927, which was used during his record-breaking season. The Hall of Fame has had nearly 16 million visitors since its opening day in 1939.

R5 Premiere ‘Rock That Rock’ Music Video!

Ring Pop partnered with pop band R5, which just launched a music video for their song, “Rock that Rock.”  The video features the band along with fans that sent in photos and videos of themselves with their ring pops. The band themselves rocked ring pops throughout the video.

Mophie’s ‘Don’t Be That Guy’ Instagram Campaign

Mophie, a company that makes iPhone battery cases, invited its fans to take photos of people who have to sit in odd places in order to charge their smartphones. Over 400 photos were submitted to the #socketsuckers hasthag on Instagram. The winners each received Mophie’s newest product at the time, the powerstation XL. Larger prizes were given away including: an iPad Mini, juice pack and mophie “Members Only” jacket.

Grumpy Cat to Star in Lifetime Holiday Movie

The cat that launched a thousand Internet memes is getting her own Lifetime original movie. Grumpy Cat is set to star in a new Christmas special for the network, titled "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever." The frowning feline, who has made appearances on talk shows, has her own merchandise line, boasts thousands of followers on Twitter and made appearances at more than a few awards shows, is getting her big break with a program perfect for the holidays.

Waiting in Line Goes From Boring to Brutal in Free-Sample Stunt

As a part of its "How Far Would You Go" campaign, Fantastic Delites rice snacks asked shoppers to participate in challenges for a free bag! Customers stood in line for ridiculously long periods of time, struggled through rough conditions and even navigated a slime-covered pool. The campaign isn’t new for the brand, but its success has allowed Delites to make the challenges more exciting and resulted in several viral videos of the stunts.
