Taking a humorous stab at women feeling guilty over food indulgences, thinkThin rolled out its newest campaign spanning from print, broadcast and social media to help empower women to not feel guilty when chowing down on delicious snacks. Red Robin Celebrates National Fry Day

In honor of National French Fry Day on July 13 and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Red Robin’s Bottomless Steak Fries, Harris Poll conducted an online survey on behalf of Red Robin. The results revealed an impressive one-third of Americans would not sacrifice their coveted last fry to any celebrity. Google Inks a Deal With Novartis to Make Smart Contact Lenses

Google has officially partnered with Novartis’s eye care division, Alcon, to create smart contact lenses. The latest technology aims to help those with a variety of ocular medical conditions, including measuring glucose levels through sensors that report results back to a mobile app. While there are no details on when the smart lenses will be available, Google and Alcon hope to eventually improve the quality of life for millions with this new device.

Heineken Unveils @WhereNext Twitter Campaign

As part of its “Cities of the World” campaign, Heineken is helping partygoers locate the best bars nearby with its own recommendation service via Twitter. @WhereNext monitors social media activity, allowing users to tap into tweets, Instagram photos and Foursquare check-in’s to find events going on in their cities.

Snapchat First: MTV VMA Nominees Will be Announced in Snaps

To unveil this year’s nominees for the 2014 Video Music Awards, MTV is used its fairly new Snapchat account to give followers a sneak peek. The Snapchats were between 8-10 seconds, and featured various MTV stars, singers and celebrities announcing contestants for each award. The VMAs will air live on Aug. 24 from inside the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Beachfront Libraries Are Pretty Much The Best Idea Ever

Beachfront libraries are popping up all over the globe, from Israel to France. These convenient shoreline collections have become the latest in travel trends. In May, Bulgaria’s Black Sea resort, Albena, reopened its beach library for a second season. The library houses more than 6,000 books and is completely free!

Yahoo Seeks to Bring The Concert to Your Couch

Yahoo and Live Nation have partnered to supply free live video streams of a different concert each day for an entire year. If successful, the program will help establish Screen, Yahoo’s video site and competitor to YouTube. And for Live Nation, it could create a franchise for online concerts. Upcoming shows include KISS, Justin Timberlake, Usher and the Neighbourhood.

Uber Partners With, Provides Kids' Car Seats

Uber and have joined forces and combined their family care skills to create uberFAMILY. UberFAMILY provides IMMI Go car seats for children over 1-year-old in Uber vehicles in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. When an Uber user requests uberFAMILY, they will receive a car seat and a driver, which is certified by The Car Seat Lady, a car seat specialist.
