See The World’s Largest Coin Mosaic – Made in Chicago

Manufacturing giant Sandvik Coromant really knows how to put loose change to use. On Sept. 10 during the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, Sandvik Coromant broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Coin Mosaic, constructing a monstrous masterpiece made up of more than 214,000 coins. The mosaic, comprised of over $65,000 worth of coinage, was created to celebrate the vital importance of careers within the manufacturing industry and was representative of the amount of money that the industry contributes to the U.S. economy each second. Brooklyn Nets Launch 'We Are Brooklyn' Campaign

With the NBA starting its 2014–2015 preseason next month, the Brooklyn Nets are launching a multichannel “We Are Brooklyn” campaign that will span TV, web and social media content. Ads will be on New York buses, subways, taxis and MetroCards. The campaign will showcase images of the players and iconic locations in Brooklyn, including the team's arena, the Barclays Center.

Corona Beams Sunlight on Patio Drinkers Suffering From Shade

As summer draws to a close, Corona Extra found a way to spare some lucky Canadians the pain of a shady patio with its Sun Beam Project. A simple sun beam was constructed with a giant reflector screen affixed to a crane and angled down on a shady Toronto patio. Ice-cold Coronas and sunglasses were provided to the lucky patrons while they basked in the sun.

Ben & Jerry’s Releases New Bob Marley-Inspired Flavor in The U.K.

When you think of bowls and Bob Marley, ice cream probably doesn’t come to mind, but maybe it should. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic album "Legend," Ben & Jerry's will release an ice cream flavor in honor of the reggae music icon and his greatest hits album. The banana-flavored ice cream, combined with caramel swirls and milk chocolate peace signs, is scheduled to hit stores in less than two weeks. Proceeds from the sale of this flavor will benefit the 1Love Foundation and Partners for Youth Empowerment.

Trojan Teams Up With MTV Again to Promote Condom Use, And The Brand

Trojan condom brand and MTV are extending a partnership for a campaign that will run online, as well as exclusively on MTV and its sibling channels. The central idea of the campaign is a couple whose relationship has gone beyond the “friend zone” and has entered a territory called the “co-zone,” short for “condom zone,” progressing to the point where they need to consider using condoms. MTV will present the campaign as part of its public service efforts about sexual health, under the banner of “It’s Your (Sex) Life.”

GreenBox is revolutionizing the pizza box as a carrier for greasy pies that transforms into plates and leftover storage containers. The eco-friendly company, which uses only 100 percent recycled cardboard in its design, conceived the idea of the reusable pizza box for birthday parties, parks and picnics. But the biggest users to date are office workers burning the midnight oil.

Burt's Bees Celebrates BeeDay

Burt’s Bees is gearing up to celebrate the company’s 30th birthday with an event hosted by Burt Shavitz the company's co-founder. Shavitz will host a live online experience on Sept. 17 with the theme “Nature Made Us Who We Are,” at his Maine home with improv actor Dan Chamberlain and bluegrass band Tumbling Bones. Verizon Turning Your 'Fashion Rocks' Tweets Into an Outfit

Verizon took it up a notch during the star-studded Fashion Rocks concert in New York City this past week, designing a fabric based on tweets during the telecast on CBS. Verizon used a live stream on two screens that detailed how the music buzz changed the color and how the fashion conversation influenced the pattern. The third screen showed a digital model wearing the fabric. After the broadcast, the Verizon unveiled an interactive version of the final fabric, so participants could see which moments and conversations played a role in its creation. Once the fabric was finalized and printed, Verizon announced a partnership with Fashion Week designer Christian Siriano, who will put the garment together.
