WestJet’s Christmas Miracle produced real-time giving to passengers aboard two special flights. Before boarding, passengers interacted with Santa through a live feed and told him what they wanted for Christmas. While passengers were flying high in the sky, WestJet purchased and wrapped the presents just in time for a special baggage claim Christmas experience.

GAME Hires Nine-Year-Old to Advise Parents on Games for Christmas

GAME went straight to the experts to discover this year’s hottest toys. In its latest campaign, the brand created a video featuring a nine-year-old “Non Executive Director of GAME Junior” to help parents pick the best gifts this holiday season. The video features a mock staff meeting with the boy taking charge to ensure children get the most desired toys this year. Take notes, parents!

12 Days of Gifts: Apple to Give Away One Digital Freebie Per Day

Just in time for the holidays, Apple launched its annual 12 Days of Gifts app, which will offer a free song, app, book or movie every day from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6.  After selecting your iTunes store location, the app currently shows a countdown until the first gift.  Apple has previously given away games such as Sonic Jump and Geomaster, apps like The Photo Cookbook and singles from bands like Maroon 5 and Ke$ha.

Led Zeppelin Headlines Spotify’s Free Mobile Service

Spotify is changing things up. The streaming music company launched a new free service for smartphones and tablets on Wednesday and announced an exclusive deal with Led Zeppelin as it aims to turn up the volume in an increasingly crowded industry. Spotify’s mobile service had previously only been available to users who paid $10 a month for a subscription. Now, users can pick tracks they want to hear and listen for free — with commercials.

Starbucks’ $450 Metal Gift Cards Will Go Fast

Starbucks made the brand’s Limited Edition Metal Card even more exclusive this year by cutting the number from 5,000 to 1,000. For the second year in a row, Starbucks is offering a limited edition, $450 metal gift card for the holidays—pre-loaded with $400. Each hand-made card comes in a blue gift box with a special letter that explains the card’s value. Perks of the card include Gold-level status – meaning free refills on iced or brewed tea or coffee.

AmazonFresh Launches in San Francisco

Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer, has recently entered into yet another facet of the consumer goods sector -- grocery food delivery. The retail giant began testing the fresh packaged food delivery, AmazonFresh, last year in Seattle and Los Angeles before launching the program earlier this month in San Francisco. Consumers can sign-up for a free 30-day trial offering more than 500,000 items for same-day or early morning delivery.

This Gaming Dongle Emits Buttered Popcorn Smells When You’re Winning

To complement Pop Secret’s mobile game, Poptopia, the company has created the Pop Dongle. Simply plug the dongle into the audio jack of the phone, which is shaped like a giant popcorn and immediately inhale the aroma of fresh buttery popcorn. Only three Pop Dongles were created, which will be auction off on Ebay through the month of December, with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

Baby Burritos Cute Enough to Eat, But Don’t do That

Parents who swaddle their babies know that when they are all wrapped up they look just like a little burrito. That’s why Bon Vivant Baby created the Tortilla Baby. The swaddle comes with a tortilla blanket and matching hat.
