Lauren Hill Honored With Her Own Commemorative Wheaties Box

Lauren Hill, a terminally ill basketball player for Division III Mount St. Joseph, now has her very own Wheaties box. Hill was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor last year. When doctors told her she would likely not live past December, her school petitioned the NCAA to move her team's first game to an earlier date so she could fulfill her dream of playing in a college basketball game.  Hill posted a photo of herself grinning with her very own Wheaties box on her Layup 4 Lauren Facebook page, which supports the non-profit organization The Cure Starts Now.

Tiffany & Co. Makes The Holidays Sparkle With Lovely Animation

For the first time in its history, Tiffany & Co. launched its first creative campaign. The 30-second video depicts NYC as a romantic winter wonderland and includes various Tiffany jewels throughout the video, including a Tiffany-blue Christmas tree. The video will run in taxis and shorter versions will appear on the web. There will also be print ads that run in conjunction with the video.

Yes, Oreo Churros Will Soon Officially be a Thing

Thanks to a deal between Mondelez International and J&J Snack Foods Corp, there has been a mash up of Oreos and churros to create the Oreo-branded churro. The crispy, chewy, churro fried dough will have Oreo cookies inside each bite. The creation will be sold nationwide, but we do not know when it is coming.

Target, Toms Embark on ‘One For One’ Holiday Campaign

Toms has released a limited edition collection at Target.  The items include shoes, blankets, and clothes, with over 50 items priced under $50. This follows Tom’s One For One giving philosophy, so Toms will give either one week of meals, a blanket, or pair of shoes to a person in need for every item purchased. As part of the collaboration, Target has launched the "One for One, For All" campaign through broadcast, digital, and social channels.

Cock-A-Doodle Bacon Pizza, Anyone? Pizza Hut Launches Biggest Menu Overhaul Yet

Pizza Hut is revamping and overhauling its pizza options to include such exotic ingredients as sliced banana peppers, Sriracha, and even curry through its newest campaign “Flavor of Now.” The pizza chain will double menu offerings with customized toppings, crust, sauce and drizzles. Pizza Hut is also rolling out a new logo inspired by a swirl of tomato sauce on stretched pizza dough. The new flavors, sauces and toppings, which have been in the works for the last year and a half, will hit stores on Nov. 19, 2014.

Facebook Building 'Workplace Network'

Facebook is building a network for professionals to connect and collaborate on work related documents. Facebook at Work will allow users to chat will colleagues, build professional networks and share documents. The network is already in use internally at Facebook and will rival existing services such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office and LinkedIn.

Swarovski is Advertising a $60 Crystal Bracelet on Craigslist's 'Missed Connections' Pages

Swarovski posted several faux personal ads on Craigslist's popular "Missed Connections" page. One ad reads: "Love that you're the kind of girl that scrolls through the Missed Connections and knows your smile gets attention. You're definitely our kind of girl. We think confidence like that deserves something sparkly. Something maybe like a Swarovski Stardust Bracelet? Maybe we have one for you. Send us a message and maybe we can make this sparkle yours." The brand hopes readers will be pleasantly surprised and sparkle a little bit more the next time they catch someone's eye.

Dewitos? Pepsi Tests Doritos-Flavored Mountain Dew

Pepsi has officially confirmed that they are testing out new flavors of Mountain Dew along with Doritos. The company is running a small program at colleges and universities across the nation that lets students try a new "Dewitos" flavor and help decide if the product should hit store shelves. A taste tester stated it tasted like "liquid cheese."
