ESPN X Games Sponsor Jeep Launches Snow-Bound Campaign For 2015 X Edition Wrangler

Jeep, which has had category exclusive sponsorship of the ESPN X Games for the past 12 years, is launching a new campaign aligned with this year's winter X Games. From Jan. 22 to Jan. 25 the Wrangler-X Edition SUV will be on display at the games Snowmass in Aspen, Colo. Jeep will also share real-time, behind-the-scenes content via its social media accounts. The campaign will announces Jeep's sponsorship of the X Games with the tagline “Take Winter by Storm.” (client)

Nintendo Launching New 3DS Model Next Month

Nintendo announced its updated version of the Nintendo 3DS XL handheld ($199), launching Feb. 13, which will include new features such as near-field communication (NFC) and face-tracking 3-D that will provide an equal playing experience from any angle. The system will also support its amiibo technology, a line of collectable figures that are virtually carried over into the game. Additionally, a gold model inspired by the classic game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" will be available.

PuppySwap App Isn't Real, But The Point it Makes About Dog Ownership is

To reduce dog abandonment, Toronto Humane Society created an ad for a fake app that lets users trade in a puppy for a new one once he/she gets old. The ad shows the app that lets subscribers choose a puppy online based on “user ratings, adorability, or what's currently trending” to successfully swap out your old best friend. The app, though not real, highlights the thousands of dogs every year who are abandoned.

Colleges Issue Official Colognes For Unique Branding

Colleges and universities nationwide have commissioned the creation of signature perfumes and colognes that align with their scholastic brand. Scent marketing is not a new field: for decades real estate agents have used baked goods to make a house feel more like a home. The same mindset goes for colleges and universities. They hope to draw in more students by having a signature scent that makes them feel welcomed.

This Girl Can Campaign Inspires Women to Wiggle & Jiggle With Pride & Purpose

In an effort to “inspire women to wiggle, jiggle and move” the government agency, Sport England, launched the This Girl Can campaign. The campaign is based on research that found 2 million fewer women than men are regularly exercising mainly due to the fact many believe exercising is for perfectly shaped Olympic athlete types. The campaign includes various forms of media and inspires women with phrases such as “Sweating like a pig, feeling like a fox” and “Damn right I look hot.”

Humans Run in Life-Size Pac-Man Maze For Beer

In honor of the upcoming Super Bowl festivities, a life-size Pac-Man game maze has been built in Los Angeles, Calif., by beer company Bud Light for their Super Bowl 2015 ad. Entitled “Coin,” the ad will tell the story of a Bud Light drinker that gets pulled into a life-size Pac-Man game after a night out.  Although Bud Light remains secretive about the details, many images of the maze have surfaced on social media.
