Converse's Street-Style Campaign Shows How People Rock Their Chucks Around The World

The Converse “Made by You” campaign launched last week and will display thousands of portraits of people in their Converses. The brand spent months roaming global cities like Tokyo, Berlin and São Paulo in search of creative individuals doing their thing with their Chucks on. The portraits will appear in a street-level "gallery" in New York's Flatiron district, care of 16-foot-tall light boxes, with an added activation via Google Cardboard that allows visitors to virtually immerse themselves in the portraiture.

Irish Spring Refreshes Brand With Signature Campaign

Irish Spring has launched its newest, interactive campaign and is asking men to sign on the dotted line. The campaign launched has an interactive platform that analyzes personalities based on a person’s signature. To find out what their autograph says about them, consumers can visit the website and sign their name on a tablet, mobile device or desktop. The portal then recommends an item best suited for the user’s personality. On social media, Irish Spring is promoting the tool on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #IrishSpringSignature.

'Churro Dogs' to Grace Arizona Diamondbacks Ballpark This Season

The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to top the success of last year's 18-inch bacon-and-cheese-stuffed corn dog by offering a dessert. The Churro Dog is a warm cinnamon churro sitting inside a Long John chocolate-glazed donut, which is then topped with frozen yogurt, caramel and chocolate sauces. The item will be available at two concession stands at Chase Field starting this season.

Oreo Gets 10 Artists to Produce Beautifully Dreamy Outdoor Illustrations

The "Play with OREO" campaign, which launched in January, continues this month with a groovy new set of out-of-home ads featuring illustrations from ten different artists. These artists were given specific words to play off of such as dunk, dream, wonder, twist and discover, in order to create and embellish these fascinating pieces of art. The ads will continue to run in New York City, Los Angeles and Indianapolis, as well as on social media.

Guinness World Records is no Longer Just a Book Company. It's a Branded Experience.

Guinness has a new business model. While the company will still produce its yearly book, it is adding more to the record-breaking experience. Since being acquired by Jim Pattison Group, the parent company of Ripley Entertainment, the brand has opened world record museums and a consulting service. Guinness is making breaking a world record look very desirable to brands with its media and ad value, and has essentially become a native advertising firm, seamlessly mingling content with marketing.

The bars will be available at select groceries stories nationwide in April.

Finding Her 'Wow' in Camp Bow Wow

Despite a series of set-backs, Heidi Ganahl went on to launch Camp Bow Wow, a chain of day-care centers for dogs that has grown into the nation’s largest pet-care franchiser, with 152 locations in 37 states and Canada. The doggie daycare now offers grooming, training and "Home Buddies," a check-in service that visits pets at home who are too old or sick to be boarded.

Urban Outfitters’ Latest Partnership is Putting Nepali Girls Through School

Urban Outfitters has partnered with Faircloth & Supply, a charitable clothing brand that provides school uniforms, supplies and scholarships to girls in Nepal. Through a seven piece capsule collection, created by designer Phoebe Dahl, granddaughter of children's author Ronald Dahl, the brand has already sent almost 1,000 Nepali girls to school, and Dahl aims to triple that number this year. The collection is available in stores and at urbanoutfitters.com.
