NASCAR Drivers Proud of Support Our Troops Tires

In celebration of Memorial Day and honoring the U.S. Armed Forces, Goodyear launched the 6th annual iteration of “Goodyear Gives Back” program. To wave the green flag on the program, Goodyear transformed its NASCAR race tires by replacing the “Eagle” sidewall design with “Support Our Troops” messaging on all tires used during the Memorial Day weekend races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In addition to the transformed tires, Goodyear is hosting a charity auction on its website, featuring autographed NASCAR memorabilia, VIP race experiences and rides on the Goodyear Blimp to help raise money for the Support Our Troops organization. Nothing Says Global Warming Like Ben & Jerry’s New Climate-Related Ice Cream

Ben & Jerry’s launched a new flavor in order to raise awareness for global warming. Due to the upcoming global climate conference in Paris later this year, the “Save Our Swirled” ice cream container is nicknamed “SOS” and states “if it’s melted, it’s ruined.” The new raspberry ice cream with marshmallow, raspberry swirls and dark and white fudge ice cream cones coincides with the company’s long history of environmental messaging.

Lipton Hopes Musicians Brew Excitement For 125th Anniversary

Lipton has kicked off a 125-day social media contest to build excitement for the brand’s Be More Tea Festival 125th anniversary celebration in October. Lipton will choose 125 fans to invite to the festival who post photos, videos, or GIFs with the hashtag #BeMoreTeaSweeps and tag @Lipton on Twitter and Instagram. The October 24 event in North Charleston, South Carolina, will include musical performances from Passion Pit, The Roots, Walk the Moon and St. Lucia.

Shazam Can Now Scan Objects in Quest to Make the Whole World Shazamable

Shazam is no longer just an app to dig up the name of that song you can’t remember!  The company recently announced it will introduce a new visual recognition capability for users. Shazam’s new interactive content is easily launched through a camera icon added to the latest version of the smartphone app, allowing for the “visual Shazaming” of anything from magazine ads to beer coasters.

The Hillary for America Shop launched Tuesday on Clinton's campaign website, and among the American-made products, from campaign tees to bumper stickers, is one that's getting the most attention: the $30 "Everyday Pantsuit Tee"—and marketers are calling the gimmicky attire a success.

Could 2015 be The Year of The ‘Elfie?’

For one tourist in Thailand, there was no need for a selfie stick when snapping a pic with an elephant.  The Canadian man captured the selfie of a lifetime when an elephant he was feeding grabbed his GoPro and took a pic of the two of them. The image, which went viral, was captioned an “elfie” by the media and picked up by numerous outlets worldwide.

Pop Star Demi Lovato Gets Vocal About Mental Illness With New Campaign

Former Disney star Demi Lovato has started a new campaign surrounding mental illness titled, “Be Vocal,” which launched Thursday, and encourages those suffering to talk about their illnesses.  Organizations such as Sunovion Pharmaceuticals together with the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, The JED foundation, Mental Health America, the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the National Council for Behavioral Health are working with Lovato to shed some light on and help advance mental health care.

Want to Record at Abbey Road - For Free? With New Studio Partnership, Converse Foots The Bill

The iconic studio has opened its doors to emerging artists to record music for free thanks a new studio partnership with Converse Global Music called the Converse Rubber Tracks program.  Rubber Tracks, Converse's state-of-the-art recording studio in Brooklyn, NY opened in 2011 and does not charge artists to record in order to give back to creative communities. Legendary studios around the world will also offer the same opportunity, including Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin and many others.

Hansaplast, a Beiersdorf-owned brand is launching a line of creams, deodorant and antiperspirant called FootExpert. To promote the foot products, the brand created a luxury publication designed with heavy paper that can be easily turned by one’s feet and large print to enjoy from eye-to-foot distance. The magazine is packed with foot-themed stories about art and fashion. There are even foot horoscopes, making this a fun way to draw attention to a usually dull product line.
