“The Disposables” campaign, led by Disappearing Doctors – an organization working to address the stigma around doctors’ mental health – is working to advocate for mental health support for healthcare professionals. The campaign uses art by Jeremy Rosario, Vice President and Associate Creative Director at FCB Health NY, to make a statement and draw in a wider audience beyond healthcare providers. Rosario handcrafted portraits of real doctors lost to suicide made from disposable medical supplies. As part of the campaign, Disappearing Doctors is also partnering with the Ohio State Medical Association, Sermo and Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation to host a live event to unveil “The Disposables” portraits. The event will provide healthcare professionals with mental health resources and will also announce several initiatives to further the cause.
