Coyne was called upon by Nature’s Recipe to help mitigate a pet food recall. We worked closely in tandem with the internal team at Del Monte and the FDA to coordinate and execute a voluntary recall. Comprehensive messaging, press releases and statements were developed and news of the recall was issued in less than 12 hours. A targeted media strategy ensured that the news was widely distributed and contained key messaging. The recall was executed with minimal impact to the brand. Media covered the situation without tying the brand to other larger, unrelated pet food recalls.
