Eggland’s Best Teams Up with The American Heart Association to Host Virtual Cooking Series
Recognizing that many families are seeking comfort in their kitchens while at home in isolation, Coyne helped Eggland’s Best develop a virtual comfort food cooking series with the American Heart Association and Chef Richard Blais. Hosted on AHA’s Healthy for Good Facebook page, Chef Blais taught viewers how to make classic comfort foods with a nutritional boost from Eggland’s Best eggs. Week one of the cooking series featured delicious Zucchini Parmesan Pancakes, while egg-centric Huevos Rancheros took center stage in the second virtual demonstration. The cooking series was a huge hit among food lovers, garnering more than 20,000 combined video views!

Luxome Gives Media The Sleep Of Their Dreams
Coyne PR hosted a relaxing virtual meditation event to celebrate the launch of the dreamy LAYR Pillow from home goods brand, Luxome. As the first-ever fully customizable pillow that allows consumers to combine a series of inserts – soft, medium and firm – and then configure each one independently for perfectly personalized fit, the team wanted to create a memorable launch experience that would offer media a tutorial on how to configure their LAYR pillow and the chance to test it out in real time. To kick off the event, Luxome’s CEO & founder, spoke about the brand origin, his founder story and of course, gave guests a run-down on how to use the LAYR Pillow. Guests then took part in a deep relaxation meditation led by wellness expert, Tracee Stanley, while resting their heads on their personalized pillow. In total, 24 media members attended the virtual event from various home & lifestyle outlets like ELLE Décor, Better Homes & Gardens and USA Today. Guests raved about how the new deskside should forever be a “bedside” and all are loving experimenting with their new pillow post-event.

Robitussin Enlists Famed Cheer Coach to Cheer America on to Good Health
At a time when Americans need cheering on more than ever, Coyne facilitated a partnership with Monica Aldama, the famous cheer coach from Navarro College and Netflix’s hit docuseries “CHEER” to help Robitussin celebrate the launch of their new Naturals line and promote their messaging of achieving little victories. To kick off the partnership, Coyne facilitated a virtual media day on Zoom with Monica during which she met with media contacts to share how she likes to use Robitussin Naturals to relieve the occasional hoarse throat or cough she sometimes develops from her demanding schedule on “Dancing with the Stars” and coaching her elite cheer team. In less than a week, multiple top-tier media placements have already been secured including the online versions of Woman’s Day, People and US Weekly. With such a great response from media right out of the gate, the team is excited to launch additional media and consumer facing activations with Monica through the rest of the cough and cold season, including “Coach Talk” videos where Monica will implement her team’s famous “mat talk” to cheer consumers on their health journeys.

Spin Master Conducts Virtual Holiday Toy Previews
With in-person media events not being possible this summer, Coyne worked with Spin Master to develop a virtual event to show media the latest tech toys that are hitting shelves this holiday season. Coyne and Spin Master determined that the event would take place via Zoom meetings over the course of three days, with various appointment times offered each day. Coyne conducted outreach to top-tier tech and parenting media and toy industry influencers, and was able to secure appointments with over 20 media contacts. During each appointment, the Spin Master brand team showcased the tech toys to the media by playing short TV commercials and then walked them through the key product features. Appointments were conducted with editors from CNET and Engadget, to Parents Magazine and Good Housekeeping, as well as all of the toy influencers. Overall, media were really receptive to the products and are already requesting samples for review, so it’s safe to say the toys made a great impression virtually and really ‘zoomed’ into editors hearts ahead of the holidays!

ChapStick® Makes A Splash on TV’s Biggest Night
For several years, Coyne has helped position ChapStick as a beauty essential by aligning the brand with prominent beauty-centric events, including awards shows. Piggybacking on years of success tapping into television’s biggest night, ChapStick partnered with two Emmy-nominated celebrities to showcase how ChapStick products were must-haves as they prepared their lips for this year’s virtual ceremony. The night before the awards, Yvonne Orji touted her love for Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub, while Billy Porter showcased ChapStick Classic Original as part of his look the night of the awards in posts published to their social media pages. The sponsored social posts drove millions of impressions and fueled media coverage in six top-tier beauty publications. The activation proved that even if this year’s show looked different than the past, we could still successfully capitalize on the moment to drive awareness for the brand.
