Ever see someone’s foreign-language tattoo and wonder what it really means? Just in time for summer, Duolingo, the language education app, is offering to “DuoOver” mistranslated tattoos. For two weeks, starting March 21, the brand is taking applications from the unfortunately inked in the U.K. and France. Applicants looking to cover their tattoo just need to post a photo of their tattoo on social media using the hashtag #TattooDuoOver or submit via email. Timed to World Tattoo Day, the language learning program is using lighthearted unfortunate circumstances to create teachable moments both on and off of the app.
